Task/Activity Instructions:
1. Choose 3 Case Studies
The case studies must relate to Enterprise, Business, Innovations or an Entrepreneur (established
and known).
2. Produce a report which aligns with the following learning objectives of the course programme:
2.1 Demonstrate a clear understanding of what is meant by enterprise and enterprise culture
in your case study (5%)
2.2 Identify the attitudes, values, personality characteristics, behaviour and processes
associated with successful entrepreneurial behaviour and discuss these in relation to your
case studies (5%)
2.3 Provide a critical rationale for, and analyse the defining characteristics of entrepreneurship
and innovation, from both theoretical and practical perspectives - in relation to your case
study (10%)
3. Each case study analysis should be between 800 – 1200 words (i.e. the total report 2400 – 3600
words)
4. Total weighting for this assessment is 60% (3 x 20%)
This is a postgraduate paper, the expectation is the level of report writing will be of a high standard and
with accurate academic reference, APA referencing required.
CRITERIA:
Clear understanding of what is meant by enterprise and enterprise culture in your case study.
Attitudes, values, personality characteristics, behaviour and processes associated with successful
entrepreneurial behaviour are identified and discussed in relation to chosen case studies.
Critical rationale and analysis defining characteristics of entrepreneurship and innovation, from both
theoretical and practical perspectives are provided and are related to chosen case studies.

2.3 Demonstrate the practical application of key skills, behavior patterns and strategies
relevant to the entrepreneur in relation to your case study. (10%)
2.4 Develop an outline of your recommendations for an innovative strategy for your case
